parents: Nightspark(D) and Raindance(D)
Personal
-Eyes: Red -Personality: Silvan has been something of a mystery to his own tribe since he was born. His Red eyes advertised his strong Dragon blood, and he was expected to outdo even his moody elder sister when it came to Dragon fire. He did not, however, come any where near her. In fact, While Snowfall was simply quiet and slightly introverted in personality, Silvan was, and still is, the epitome of the "silent type." He has never been one to let out his feelings, so it seems to everyone else that he has none, at times. Of course, they know this is not true (after all, they all saw him cry when Bamboo was killed, and they see how he loves his daughter every day), but his lack of display when it comes to things emotional, combined with his powers of Healing are enough to awe even the most practical of elves in the Holt. In reality, Silvan is a romantic type, given to flights of fancy. His sister knows that, from when they were children, and Bamboo knew it best. But Bamboo is gone and Snowfall was never so close to him. So now it is locked inside again. And he doesn't mind. He is totally guileless and has no idea that his fellow elves are at all awed by him. -History: Second child of chieftess Raindance, Silvan always knew he was not to be a great warrior or hunter. He was more inclined to study plants with Grunbaum and his little ruffian cub Thistletricker (who is not so much younger than Silvan), or to watch the birds or insects or anything else. Anything where he could be silent and just think appealed to the cub Silvan, while everything that involved hitting something appealed to his sister. But the two became friends early on and Silvan quickly learned that he had the singular skill of being able to tame his sisters wild Dragon-fired temper. When he and Bamboo Recognized, it was fast and furious, and he can barely remember anything but her about it. He was blissfully happy with her, finally having someone to share his dreams with. He had never really thought of sharing them before (it always seemed a bit silly) but once he knew Bamboo, he knew that they were made to share. When Plumtree was born his life was complete. But then, Bamboo fell to the ravine and it felt as if he had lost everything. In truth, he has never forgiven himself for being too slow to get to her, and is ever haunted by the idea that if he had been just a little bit earlier to the scene, she could have been saved. Plumtree has been what kept him from wandering off into the mountains alone, like the old stories of Naga before he recieved the Chief's tattoo.
