Personal
-Eyes: brown
-Hair: Bright red
-Relative age: Has just Come of Age.
-Life Path: future weapon-maker and metal worker.
-Skills: She has always been handy with a bow and arrow, but since she is exceptionally strong and fast for her size and age, she is learning hand to hand now.
-Personality: Like her sister, Redleaf knows how to do things for herself, and is not afraid to get them done. She has always been uncannily strong, which is why Moonpool knew she was to take his place in the forge, and something of a tomboy. She is a bit awkward with behaving as Brighteyes and Rivershine and all the other lasses do around the lads, but she is always willing to try. She prefers the company of the elders, mostly Moonpool and Goldvoice, but she finds all of them far more relaxing than the younger members of the tribe, who make her a bit uneasy. Especailly if Jade is around. There is one exception to that rule, or there was, anyway. Cloud used to make her feel like herself. But now, shes so ill-at-ease with her of Age status- not to mention her changing feelings for him- she doesn't know what to say to him. She is stubborn and never gives up on anything, and nothing ever takes her too long to master. In short, a capable, strong young elf, trying to deal with her new place in the holt.
-History: Redleaf will never be one to cry over spilled wine, but she does wish she could've known her mother better. She's heard enough of Knotwood's teachings to Cloud to understand the way living works, and knows that they have only gone to the palace, and may come again, but they are not gone. She is not bitter at all, and holds no hate in her heart. She has always known Jade was not so forgiving about it, and for that reason, and many others, she has never been completely at ease with her, but she has always respected and loved her for taking care of her. Once she was old enough to think for herself, however, she began spending more time with Moonpool, their mother's brother, and discoved a father figure in the smiling, silent empath. For advice, she usually asks her cousin Brighteyes or aunt, Goldvoice. Jade does not seem to notice, much to Redleaf's relief, because she is too preoccupied with Highsun. And that's another thing that grates on Redleaf about her sister...
-Relationships:
*Jade* Despite her love and gratefulness to her sister, Redleaf cannot help but be uncomfortable around her these days. She is more and more consumed by the sword and Highsun, and Redleaf just wants to live her life. She tries to keep her distance lately, even though she knows Jade would be there in a moment if she asked.
*Moonpool* The only parental figure Redleaf has ever accepted, Moonpool has tried his best to guide her down her path, without pushing her one way or another. She adores her uncle's sharp, but silent sense of humor and his way with words. His spirituality also draws her to follow him. Throughout her life, those with connections to the spirit have always been able to hold her attention best.
*Goldvoice* Redleaf appreciates the fact that Goldvoice has not tried to "mother" her at all, but has always been there when she needed a shoulder to cry on or a bit of advice. She also loves their conversations about the old stories, especially the ones about dragons or humans.
*Brighteyes* Most of the time, Redleaf feels that Brighteyes is as much her sister as Jade. She is not comfortable being around her and her friends for too long, but the occasional jibe from Brighteyes about her and Cloud have always been welcomed with a laugh.
*Cloud* Redleaf and Cloud were never seen anywhere without one anotheras they were growing up. But now that she has Come of Age, she is busy with her training in the forge and at hand-to-hand, she has used it as an excuse to distance herself from him. She doesn't admit it to anyone, but her feelings for him are rapidly becoming more than the feelings one has for a childhood playmate, and she is not sure how to deal with that.
