-Personality: Neubach outgrew both of his parents before he Came of Age. He has been the tallest and broadest of shoulder in the holt since he can remember; therefore, he has also been the most careful. Luckily for his Holt-mates, he has never been one to have a large temper, despite the rough look of him, and is something of a gentle giant. Until something threatens one of his friends or his family. Then he does not only get mad, but he also gets even. Loyalty is key to Neubach- loyalty to friends, family, and Holt. This is made complicated by discomfort around empaths, which explains the demise of his cub-hood friendship with Moonpool. But he does his best to speak to everyone and valiantly tries to overcome what he knows is an irrational fear- the only one he has ever fallen prey to as far as anyone knows.

-History: It has not been so easy for Neubach. Growing up he was happy, if a bit too large to know exactly what he was going to be running into and tripping over all the time. He spent much time with his best friend Moonpool (the only other Elf who is really of age with him, which is the sort of thing that matters to immortals only when theyre cubs, we assume). As time went by, Neubach (who stoutly refused to learn hand-to-hand lest he should accidentally injure his friends) became adept with the bow and the sword and moved down the warrior path, becoming a Protector. When it was uncovered that Moonpool was an empath, he simply couldn't remain so close to him, and shut himself off. He had a lovemate by that time, however, Violet, so he wasn't completely alone, and his gentle little sister Bamboo was ever a friend. But then his parents and Violet were killed by a mad Red Dragon (which he later killed in a rage, which he doesnt quite remember doing), he was left with only his sister, and then the mountain took her. But gentle Aerie managed to calm his warrior soul with her love in later years, and her little daughter Rivershine became like his own. Alas, Aerie was called to Wander, being an Elder herself, and now he is left with Rivershine. He is resilient and does not feel afraid of losing things, despite his trials. In fact, his lack of issues is almost shocking, but he is all for living in the now, or as they say, jin tian.

-Relationships: *Rivershine* He thinks of her like his own daughter, and forgets that there was ever a time when she wasn't. They are good friends as well, and she is one of the few he can talk with openly... or at least loudly. She is one of the few who can tolerate his loud voice in her ear for so long.
*Moonpool* There is no relationship to speak of now, but they were once the best of friends. He feels horrible for his inability to carry on that relationship, and knows it is foolish, but he cannot fool his heart into feeling something his brain knows is right. He does not try to avoid him, in fact of late he has been attempting to be near him more often in the hopes that his fear will fade, but he does not start up conversations- mostly due to guilt.
