-Personality: Lotus has always been one to live mindfully. She always knows what she is doing, and what everyone else is doing, without being uptight about it. She simply enjoys living, and wants to savor every moment. Next to her sister, she is the most soft spoken, sweet tempered individual in the holt, always smiling and rosy cheeked. She takes great pride in all the little things, her art, her family, her love, without losing sight of the grander scheme her father always taught her about, where they are part of an endless circle. She does not try to hide her empathy, but she is careful not to impose upon those who would feel imposed upon by her sherr presence. She only wishes that everyone in the holt should be happy. Nothing matters so much to her as happiness.
-History: Lotus had already Come of Age when Sleepflower was born and Stillsong died. However, there was no need for her to act as mother to the cub, since Sleepflower was posessed of a quiet purposefulness right from the beginning. The two were considered inseperable for many years. Many turns after her Coming of Age, she recognized Swiftfox, a daring trickster, and they had Cloud together. This was when Red dragons were becoming less and less common in the surrounding woods, but a hunting party, including Swiftfox, was set upon by one, and were all killed but one, Neubach (Neubach later killed the same dragon). A few turns ago, at Spring fest, she discovered a love for Jay, who had long ago taken over as a father figure for Cloud, and at this turn's fire, they concieved a child of the dragon, a child of the earth. Lotus, being empathic and able to touch other's minds, knows she will have a daughter soon, called Hazel.
-Relationships:
*Knotwood* Father, protector, and teacher, Knotwood has instilled in both his daughters the calm and understanding that comes with deep investigation of both nature and the elvin spirit. Lotus naturally looks up to him as both father and sage, possibly even more than Sleepflower, since he was the tanner before she learned the art from him.
*Sleepflower* Very few in the holt realize that Sleepflower is not shy, only afraid, and Lotus is one of them. She has spent much time with her sister over the turns, and tried to encourage her to come to the heart of the holt and activity more often, but Sleepflower most often refuses. Lotus loves her sister deeply, and is often in awe of the magics she can perform without even blinking an eye.
*Cloud* Nothing makes Lotus's heart sing like her lad, Cloud. She knows he has something big around the corner for him at his soon-to-be-here Coming of Age, and she can feel that it has to do with the stirrings of magic he feels, but she doesn't know what. She tries not to speculate, but she can't help but feel her lad's excitement over the upcoming ceremony.
*Jay* She knew she loved Jay when she first saw him take Cloud under his wing, but she had no idea it would develop into the bond it is now. She loves his free spirit, although he is always a bit lonely, he never fails to make her smile. They make one another happy, and now, they will have a daughter, despite the fact that they have not recognized. Sometimes, they both know, children of the fire are even better suited to their lives than children of recognition.
