-Info: Both parents were killed by the Lesser Red Dragon immediately before Neubach killed it. Jade was of age, and old enough to take care of her sister, and the two of them have lived alone since (despite Moonpool's wish that they live with him and his family).

-Personality: Well-adjusted is not a word that would come to mind. Jade is highly competitive, and wishes to gain Snowfall's level of expertise at Swordplay. She is very focused on her training, but only because she needs to be the best, not becuase she loves it. She is not shy or withdrawn, but can be quite sulky or nasty if, for example, she feels Highsun has slighted her, or something equally trivial has happened. She is extremely protective of her younger sister, Redleaf, and is very independent. She doesn't want to need anybody, which forms quite an odd paradox with her obsession with Highsun. She feels only that she should have the best and be the best, and so should Redleaf. She would do anything for her sister. She feels that a lovemate is a precious thing, and doesn't undestand how Highsun can have many and still claim it is love, but one must wonder if she really understands love herself. Her posessiveness is bordering on scary. However, she is truly an intelligent and fascinating individual if one gets past her pretense. Her caring side, most evident when she is near Redleaf, is beautiful. She also has a discomfort around empaths, due to all her pent up emotion, and a tendancy toward empathy herself that frightens her.

-History: After her parents were killed, Jade insisted on raising her sister alone, not accepting any help from her very concerned Uncle, Moonpool. She also began to focus intensely on training with Snowfall, making her into a sort of mother figure. She still has some anger that her parents were killed, and feels it should have been prevented. She is quite polite, however, and would never say such a thing. She made Highsun her lover several turns later, and has never had another since then, even though he does. She is constantly up and down with what she feels are his attentions or lack thereof, and has never quite forgiven Brighteyes for being his lovemate before her. Now that Redleaf has come of age, she does not watch her so closely, but still makes certain she is alright on a daily basis.

Relationships:
*Redleaf* Jade would walk to the ends of the earth if Redleaf asked her to. Since her parents died, she feels Redleaf is her sole responsibilty, and she is not one to shirk any responsibility. She does talk to her sister now and again about her life and feelings, moreso now that Redleaf has Come of Age. She truly loves her sister, but really doesn't know her very well.
*Moonpool* Although he is her Uncle, and only family except for her sister, she has never felt comfortable taking anything from him. His empathic abilities make her nervous, and his slight sarcasm and biting laugh makes her self-conscious.
*Highsun* Her one and only love, she likes to think. She adores Highsun, because he is the best. Because he has thick Dragon blood. But also, because he accepts her for her, and gives his love freely. Something she has always wanted to do, but never understood how. Perhaps her love for him is a bit misguided, but she can't help herself in his presence. she knows she gains his attentions deviously sometimes, but she feels it's for his sake as much as hers.
*Brighteyes* Jade wavers daily between cold disinterest, searing hatred, and unexpected warmth for her cousin. She likes her, but envys her Highsun's time and love, even Redleaf's attentions to her as another sister slightly offend Jade. Sometimes she is grateful to her cousin for including her in things, sometimes she feels it is pity and hates her for it.
