Personal

-Eyes: Silver, with a yellow ring around the pupil
-Hair: Yellow
-Relative Age: Young adult
-Life Path: Highsun is Sheng of Peacock Mountain
-Skills: Excellent with the bow and at hand-to-hand.

-Personality: Highsun inhereted not only his father's sense of humor and infectious smile, but also his unstoppable charm. The combination of that and his beautiful face has made him a ladies man from the very beginning. Those young lasses that haven't fallen to his charms have at least considered it. He always thought he would go on lovemaking, hunting and laughing forever, and he would have been perfectly content with that. But then Fireshadow passed on his right to the Chief's Tattoo and the title of Sheng to him, and he realized that Chiefdom is indeed is true Life Path. He is never proud or cruel, even by accident. His thoughts are always of others, and he truly loves everyone he knows. It is widely accepted that he will never take a Lifemate, because he cannot devote more of himself to one he loves any more than to another. He gives of himself freely. He loves relaxing, dreamberries, hunting, and spending time with his brother (in blood and in soul) Firedshadow.

-History: From birth, it was assumed that Highsun would lead a fairly carefree life. When his brother passed the tattoo on to him, he accepted with such grace and grew up so much that no one in the tribe could deny his right to Chiefdom. Aside from his parents and his Uncle and teacher, Jay, Fireshadow has been his biggest mentor. This strikes most in the tribe as odd, because of their night and day personalities, but Fireshadow was the main reason he chose to specialize in the bow, instead of the sword as his mother would've preferred, and the reason he practices at hand-to-hand so much. It lets him spend time with his brother, doing the things they both enjoy. He has been lovemates with Brighteyes since they were old enough, and Rivershine for nearly as long. Thistletricker came into the picture rather recently, but they have all accepted him readily. Jade is another story altogether...

-Relationships:
*Jade* While we're on the subject... Jade, his mother's best student in swordplay, has had her sights set on Highsun since he Came of Age, and probably before. He knows this, and has accepted her- readily- as a Lovemate, although she will not share him with the others. He will stay with only her some nights because he loves her, no matter what anyone else thinks. He loves the way she has taken care of Redleaf, and her caring side. But he cannot make himself love her more than his other lovemates. And that is the problem, at least in her mind. She is constantly vying for his attention, even though he assures her she need not compete with anoyone. He wants her to be happy, but is often worried that he is only making matters worse by encouraging her. His giving nature makes him somewhat blind to her jealousy.
*Brighteyes* Long-time friends and lovers, it can usually be assumed that if both of them haven't been seen lately, they're together. He enjoys her company for her liveliness, her intelligence, her openess. They enjoy teasing one another almost as much as rolling in the furs together. Brighteyes often worries about her cousin, Jade, having a negative effect on her long-time playmate, and tries to make him feel more at ease about the subject.
*Rivershine* She is appreciated by all for her wild, adventuresome spirit, and equally breathtaking beauty, but none appreciate her as much as Highsun. Or as often;-> Her closeness to Brighteyes opened up all sorts of possibilites to the three of them, once they be came a bit more skille din love-play.
*Thistletricker* Somewhat older than the three friends, the plant-shaper has recently been welcomed into their group with open arms. His free-wheeling, easy going style endeared him to them when they were children, and now that they're older, they enjoy his company and his wine! The way Highsun sees it, the more in the furs, the merrier!
*Fireshadow* Silent, strong and noble, Highsun's elder brother never fails to inspire a bit of awe and a bit of laughter in him. If he is closest to someone in the holt, it is his brother, who he shared his soul-name with on the night he passed him the right to the Chief's Tattoo. He alone knows for certain that Fireshadow is the Dragon-fire embodied, because he has seen his true nature. The balance in their relationship is perfect, and has never been upset. They do not quarrel, they simply understand one another. Sometimes Highsun thinks that without his brother there to anchor him, he would float off into the sky.
*Snowfall* Highsun has never understood his mother very well, but he always tries very hard to be helpful to her... and to stay out of her way. He loves and respects all that she is, her power, her grace, her skill, but he knows better than to cross her or upset her in the least. Unless, of course, Marlin is nearby.
*Marlin* His father and his companion. Highsun has no question about where he got his huge laugh, or his ever-present sense of humor. He looks to his father for advice on interaction, and feels that between he and Snowfall, he might just make the best damn Chief any tribe could want. There can't be better parents out there.
*Sleepflower* A lass quite different from any other. She is one who is outside of Highsun's charm, although she is only a few turns his younger. Not because she resists him better than others, but because she is somehow sacred in his mind. Perhaps it is the sageacity of her father, Knotwood. Perhaps it is her phenomenal magic. Of course, she's not so sacred he can't joke about conning her into getting into the furs with him, but they both know, somehow, that that is not to be the nature of their relationship. For some reason, Highsun is content to search her out in the woods every now and again just to sit next to her. She seems to like it too.
